Privacy Policy

This summary explains how FarsiYar handles parent accounts, child profiles, guest play, analytics, and account actions.

What we collect

We collect the information needed to run the service: parent account details, authentication identifiers, child profiles created by a parent, learning progress, reward events, game completions, and basic technical information needed for security and reliability.

Cognito identity and parent accounts

Parent sign-in is handled through Amazon Cognito. The app uses the Cognito user identifier to connect a signed-in parent to their FarsiYar account. Email verification is required for sensitive actions such as account deletion or subscription management, not for basic first entry.

Child profiles and progress

Child profiles are created and managed by the parent account. We store profile names, avatars, selected child state, lesson progress, game completions, and stars so the parent can see learning activity and the child can continue from the right place.

Guest device storage

Guest play is device-scoped and time-limited. Guest progress is stored locally on the device during the guest period and can be migrated only after a parent signs up, confirms the action, and selects or creates a child profile. Guest mode must not be treated as a signed-in account.

Analytics

FarsiYar may use GA4 or Google Tag Manager to understand product usage, guest conversion, trial surfaces, and reliability. We use analytics to improve the product and do not run third-party advertising inside the child experience.

Account deletion and changes

Parents can manage account settings from the dashboard. Sensitive account actions require a verified email session. Account deletion removes the parent account path and associated app data according to the implemented account-deletion flow.
